A wonderful story of a collie named Shirley that was the author's close companion for 14 years. In this FIRST EDITION. the story of their adventures in New Hampshire and Alaska are told from the dog's point of view. The volume is in excellent condition and with exception of a 2" square chip on the back, the dustjacket is in very good condition and is protected by a mylar cover. Ripley's lovely black and white illustrations are featured; all six are present. The binding is tight and square. Seller Inventory # 61904
