Quarter white cloth with white paper-covered boards, 416 pp. Top edge spotted, edges of boards and ends of spine somewhat worn & soiled, spine cracked around page 250, shaken hinges repaired with acid-free PVA, front endpaper appears to be too large, causing some looseness to front hinge even after repair. DJ has numerous small chips and tears (to ½") along top & bottom edges, some repaired with tape, and a few creases in flaps; in Brodart archival cover. Novel .
