Middletown, New York: Prior King Press. Very Good-. 1986. Softcover. 28 cm. Sound and square binding in cardstock covers. The corners have some wear and one corner has a soft crease mark. There is a sticker pull mark on the front cover. Someone has written “West Point Civil War” on the spine. It has a small ding on the front edge of the text block. Price erasure on title page corner. The inside pages are clean, bright, and unmarked. The story of the West Point U.S. Military Academy's Class of 1861. The class included 52 graduates, who went on to become 41 Union Officers, 11 Confederate Officers, 15 Generals, and 5 recipients of Congressional Medals of Honor. During the Civil War, they suffered a casualty rate of 65%. The book is illustrated with black and white photographs. .
