About This Item

New York: Hyperion, 2009. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. New. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. New; pristine and immaculate. New York: Hyperion, 2009. First Edition and First Printing of Heat Wave by (the pseudonymous) Richard Castle. Also with the points of: no date on copyright page, and 09/09 on the rear jacket flap. This example is a first as first gets. Octavo, illustrated jacket (uncredited), black cloth boards, silver spine imprinting, 198 pp. New, flawless, immaculate, and pristine, and of course a wall-to-wall first, chronologically. A collector piece. The first novel in the series inspired by the series of "novels" in the "Castle" television series, which were, in the television series, "written" by the television "Richard Castle", Nate Fillion. There will be a quiz on that. Heat Wave was not, in fact, written by Nate Fillion, but it will be a long time before the identity of the actual author is divulged. If ever. Some folks think it was written by the late Stephen J. Cannell (who was a best-selling author, and whose semi-tongue-in-cheek promo quote appears on the back cover here), but those folks are just fishin'. But, somewhere, someone knows. L17n

Synopsis

Fictitiously attributed to Richard Castle, a character on the ABC television show, Castle.
