New York, New York, U.S.A.: Dell Yearling, 1979. First, Thus . Boxed Set. Fine/Very Good. Shepard E. H.. Nice boxed set containing 4 books inspired by the original tales of A. A. Milne, with the original charming illustrations of Ernest H. Shepard.All 4 books are in Near Fine condition: basically feel like Brand New & unopened books! Completely clean & unmarked, bindings secure & straight, colors bright. Only flaws are that 1) all pages are moderately-heavily tanned, commensurate with age; 2) a few foxed spots around spine, heaviest on "Party Book." The slipcase, decorated on front & back with illustration of Pooh & the gang in the kitchen, is downgraded to VG+ due to light foxing/soil. Box is sturdy with some scuffing along bottom edge & light rubbing to extremities, a few deeper scraped along top & top edges. NO rips or tears. All in all a lovely & very collectible set, since it's hard to find boxed & all together like this in such nice condition!
