An odd early mixed issue of the first printing of the First American edition (stated first, complete number line to 1 with '23' code), in a later issue binding (burgundy over black boards with no diamond pattern), in later but early issue jacket ($16.95 price, no volume number on spine but reading 'Rowling', Publishers Weekly quote on back cover). The jacket is near fine, the binding is rubbed with some smudges to boards).

Synopsis
