The Purcell Papers. 3 Volumes. With a Memoir By Alfred Perceval Graves
Le Fanu, Joseph Seridan

1880. First edition. Octavo, xxxii 236; iv 274; iv 290 pp. Publisher's original olive sand grained cloth (one of 4 variants); decorative endpapers; gilt stamped spines. Wear to extremities of cloth with bumped to corners. Bindings are rolled and loose with all hinges cracked; volume II front hinge completely broken, thus leaving the first half of the sewn signatures separated from the binding. Some minor waviness to the cloth in a couple of instances. Endpapers have some rubbing with brown discoloration. Overall, a very bright copy, despite the issues with the bindings. Sold w.a.f.
