One of them an American Heiress called Ruth Kettering, is found murdered overnight and a famous Ruby ?Heart of Fire,? which was recently given to her by her wealthy father, is missing. Unmarked pages with some light soiling to the outer edges of the pages outside of the text block. The soiling is also on the page edges. The cover has some light wear and bumping on the corners and edge of the spine. The spine has discoloration from wear. The spine has some soiling.
The publishing date is not stated, the advertised price is one shilling or ten cents and the books were called, 'The Bob Novels. ' The book has a tear at top of the spine for five cm, tears to the front and rear hinges to half their length with the webbing intact. The dust jacket is not price clipped, five per cent is missing and it has tears.
