Page 111 has a 2" closed tear and the last pages of ads are unopened with a 1/4" tear to the margin. Remains a nice copy.

The title page is split from the binding at its upper 3". Some tiny dust spots to the i nterior but is otherwise fine.

Condition Notes: Some rubbing to cloth on front cover joint and few scuff marks to front and back cover. Binding is very good. Small black ink stain noted to inside top of pages 162-163 (about the size of a pin head).  Moderate exposing of hinges around signature between pages 196-206 (please see photos for details).  Some fading of gilt on spine and minor shelf wear to top and bottom of spine. Overall, this remains a beautiful copy for any Alcott collector's library.
