Book has clean, exceptionally bright and sharp cloth and stamping; tight square binding; pages and plates clean and unmarked; toning and foxing to page edges (stronger over plate edges), toning from jacket edges to endpapers. Jacket has rubbng and surface loss along edges and hinges, stronger at spine ends and corners; 1/2" internally tape-repaired tears off lower and upper front edges and mid lower rear edge (latter with surface loss). Central panels colors and titles clean and bright. Jacket in Brodart.

Small dark green hardcover with gold lettering on spine, 1964, Appalachian Mtn Club, 147pp + 32 color plates; dust jacket has white front cover with illustration of mounains and photo of pink flower, green spine and back cover. Book cover has slightest wear, interior as new except original bookseller sticker; dust jacket lightly rubbed.
