The book is in good condition. The lettering to the spine is bright and unrubbed. There is a scrape to the bottom of the spine. The pages are clean and free of any foxing. There are no signatures, bookplates, or markings of any kind. This book is a First Edition / First Printing printed by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1986. The book comes with its rare original dustjacket. The Jacket is in good condition with some light rubbing and light wear to its edges. A rare copy of Atwood's classic work.

First Canadian printing of each book. Issued in 1985 and 2019 respectively. Testaments is signed by Atwood; Handmaid's Tale is not. An excellent example of The Handmaid's Tale, with light spotting to top edge of textblock, a half inch closed tear to rear panel of the unclipped jacket, and only slight rubbing of the burgundy at head and foot of spine. The Testaments is as-new. Jacket of each in a removable archival sleeve.
