Lemon coloured endpapers. Loose Binding :- book block is loose with several pages detached - non missing - some have creasing to margins. Page 329 of index has a loss across one column. A superb folding coloured frontispiece of the orchid 'Odontoglossum vexillarium' has a repaired tear. with folds showing wear. Clean. 52 black and white illustrations. most of them plates and the majority folding- most have minor creasing and fore-edge damage. Pages lightly age toned with occasional light spotting, heavier to the front and rear. Closed tears to the odd plate. Very Good.
