Boards sunned around edges and along spine, rubbed and stained in places, corners bumped, foot of spine missing 3cms exposing binding, closed tears to head of spine exposing binding 6cms, closed tear to reading edge of ffep 1 cm, previous owner's inscription to half title page, some light spotting to fep, light staining to edges of some pages otherwise clean and clear to read, colour illustrations clean, binding shaken but pp secure. 160 pp clean unmarked as new, beautifully illus in sepia and full colour. The binding well done and looks as new but without any blocking, and as it came from a collection of Windsor books, may well have been hand bound there, but altogether a fine as new copy. Size: 4to
