8vo., 293pp. Beautiful First Edition of this scarce mystery. Bound in publisher's original navy cloth with titles stamped in gilt on spine and front board. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear, toning or foxing. Perhaps a hint of bumping to spine ends. Remarkably well-preserved . Very attractive dust-jacket is complete but has a chip to the front fold and horizontal creases and closed tears to the bottom front panel and bottom front hinge. Else a solid VG. Stiff quite fresh and bright and difficult to find in any condition. A gorgeous collectable copy of an uncommon title. (Hubin, p.309).
