Stated First American Edition with full number line 10-1. In blue boards with magenta spine cloth and blue foil type. Bump to top of front board and lesser dings to rear corners. Some glue residue and some shallow paper scars to ffep where bookplate was removed with light ripple. Interior otherwise clean and binding tight. Jacket is unclipped ($6.95) with a couple short tears and associated creasing to top of front panel. Some rubbing/nicks to spine ends/corners and small scrape to bottom of front panel. Small stains to inside of jacket at top of spine and top of rear board. Some tanning to inside of jacket alongside where spine cloth touches. 1st Printing

First American Edition stated, first printing with full numberline, including one. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Variant binding with navy paper-covered boards with decorative blindstamp on front panel. Bright lavender titles on spine and isbn number on rear panel (matching isbn number on rear of DJ.) Book shows slightest minor sunning along edges, barely. Small speck stain on rear panel, small faint spot on rear endpaper. Original DJ with $6.95 price intact on flap. DJ shows a small rub at upper right corner, and minor shallow rubbing at crown. This copy measures 7 3/4 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide whereas the bookclub editions measure taller and wider. A tight, attractive copy of the first edition, first printing, in original DJ. VG+/VG+.
