Hardcover in red cloth, has slight lean to binding, very slight bumps to spine ends and board corners with a touch of fraying starting to cloth at lower corners, faint sunning and a small spot to spine, small scrape to base of rear board, and some faint rubbing to boards, otherwise a solid, tight VG copy.

Juvenile Series. The last title in the Jerry Todd series. The book is in nice condition with a frontispiece on coated paper. The scarce dust jacket is in Very Good condition with moderate wear to the tips, the top of the spine and moderate soiling. This an a very nice example of a scarce title, rarely seen in dust jacket.

This VG+/VG book is very clean and in excellent condition. It is square, has no edge dings or bumped corners; only the head and heel of the spine have bumps and they are quite minor (see photo). The inside has an inked inscription on the back side of the frontis and a series of 4 overlapping stamps on the FFEP (see photo); otherwise, the interior is free of writings, stray marks, stains and any sort of page damage. Hinges are strong and lightly toned paper is very flexible. The jacket is very clean and mostly intact--some bits of color loss along the fore edge, tiny chips at the fore corners and at the head and heel of the spine; but there is a big chip--3/4" x 1-1/4"-- at the bottom of the front panel which is a bit of a distraction from an otherwise very attractive book.
