1932. First Edition. 288 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with heavy foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn, with noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed and spine ends are crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
256 pages. Postcard-sized phot of O'Neill pasted to rear free endpaper. Former owner's name on front free endpaper. Backstrip and top edgest discolored. Corners rubbed. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
Green cloth with some light spotting to the cover. Spine titles lightly faded but readable. Interior clean and unmarked and the binding is tight. Contains the titles: "Homecoming," "The Hunted," and "The Haunted."

Illustrated endpapers. 256 pp. A tight, near fine example, bit of light spotting lower front cover. in the original Robert Edmund Jones designed dust jacket, near fine, spine and outer edges a touch toned. Trilogy cycle of O'Neill plays: "Homecoming", "The Hunted" and "The Haunted", a retelling of the ancient Greek Orestia by Aeschylus. The characters parallel those of the original work. The statgeplay of the trilogy debuted on Broadway in Octover, 1931 and ran for 150 performances. It was the basis for the 1947 film starring Rosalind Russell, Michael Redgrave, and Raymond Massey as well as for a 1967 opera by Martin David Levy.
