A very special association copy that is inscribed on the front end paper to Edward Then of Labatts by Irish author and theatre critic, Gabriel Fallon. The inscription reads "For the genial and hospitable Ed Then of Toronto's Labatts; with every good wish from the Author 21 June 1975." Additionally signed and dated and placed on the title page by 'Gabriel Fallon, "Abbey Theatre Dublin 21 June 1975". This book is very scarce signed and especially so signed and inscribed. The Abbey Theatre is now known as the National Theatre of Ireland. Minor bumps to the dust jacket with a very small tear at the upper spine. The dust jacket and book are otherwise fine; a very collectible and pleasing copy.
