Beautiful iconic dustjacket laminated, not priceclipped, very clean, bright and tight-slight repair ar join to end flap.Removed tape lines to flap edges and pastedowns where joined. Offset very thin lines from this to front (not much) and rear pastedowns.Slight rub on ffep where label hasbeen removed. Prison location stamp liberally stamped on rear pastedown and endpaper, and less so on front pastedown and endpaper, also few on edges.Library stamp on title page, couple of end flypages.In spite of these,internally very clean,bright and tight,entire copy all in all, seems not to have been in demand .352pp. including 24 plates, 32 location maps (present day lepidopterists eat your heart out!), glossary,bibliography,bibliographical notes, list of scientific names, index.
