First Edition. Hardback. 8vo. pp v, 98. Firsdt or early edition. The intro by the translator Eleanor Marx Aveling (daughter of Karl) is dated 1895 and she talks of issuing the book (from this press) for the 1896 Trade Unioin Congress in London. Worldcat records only one edition from this press and dates it, possibly erroneously, as 1906. Original publisher's red cloth lettered gilt on the front cover. Light wear at spine ends otherwise very good. Two neat name on front endpaper inc 'Irma Petroff' presumably the Marxist writer and poet.
