Front hinge separated, held only by the endpapers. Back hinge is cracked along the leather, but holding. Some scuffs, additional dampstain to back cover. Pages age-toned, with finger-smudges throughout. Figures in a contemporary hand on the front pastedown and a faded gift inscription c. 1799 on a blank leaf. Signatures marked B-Z, AA-SS; 304, xvi pg. (final 15 pages are the index).
