The fifth impression of the first UK edition, published the year after the first impression. Translated by Richard Graves.Tipped in to the half title is a signed letter from Harrer, on the letterhead of his UK publisher, Rupert Hart-Davis. The letter is dated October 1953, and is in Harrer's native German.
