355 pages, lightly age-toned. Contents tight (without cracks) & clean, without names nor marks. Slight off-set toning to first & last endpapers. On the rear pastedown, bottom of inside edge, there are 2 tiny labels: one of bookseller name & location; the other gives price $2.50. Top edge shows light soil. Black cloth is clean, sharp with a touch of rubbing to tips. Book is v. slightly cocked. Gold title label on front cover is sl. darkened, else nice. The gold spine label has creasing down its center & minor scrapes to corners & along edge. This is a First Edition with 1929 on title page & the lone date on copyright page along with the colophon. On verso (pg.x) of dedication page is the disclaimer indicating this as a Second Issue. Please "Ask Bookseller" if this is available before ordering.
