A very good copy ex-library of this general account of hot-metal production in the 1960s. Dust Jacket: pictorial laminated with black and white photo to front and black and white lettering to all faces; in very good condition for its age, some signs of shelf wear, some fading and remains of a library label to spine but otherwise very clean and bright; not price clipped (now protected). Cover: black cloth with gilt lettering in red cartouche to spine; in very good, clean and bright condition, few signs of shelf wear. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; ex-library so usual stamps; no inscriptions but small very discreet book-plate from previous owner to front paste-down; slightest foxing to front free end paper and slight darkening to page edges commensurate with age (55 years old). Also includes a couple of contemporary newspaper articles about news printing. xiv,302 pp.
