This 1961 first edition is bound in green cloth with gold print on the spine and is signed with a gift inscription by the author. The book is tight and bright with no markings, some age discoloration along the edges, especially bottom of back cover. The unclipped ($15.00) dust jacket is very good--colorful and complete with wear along top edge, now in protective cover. The author, whose wife's family had lived in Bermuda since the 1600s, has compiled information and 458 photographs of the furniture and silver he describes.
