First Welsh edition, first printing. Illustrated with original hand-drawn by Thomas Taylor, the illustrator who created the cover artwork for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The illustration has been created in blue ballpoint pen and appears on the dedication page. The illustration was commissioned and created in 2024 and depicts Harry in the centre holding his wand surrounded by depictions of important motifs which appear in the book - Hedwig, Diagon Alley, Platform 3/4, the key with wings which appears towards the end of the book. The illustration has also been signed and dated 'Thomas Taylor, 2024'. Fully authenticated by J.K. Rowling signature expert Adam Houston of Theharrypotterspecialist.
