Hardcover. Volume one only. Blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering on spine. Cloth is a bit rubbed and lightly stained; stamping on spine remains bright. Cloth gently frayed at head and foot of spine. Front gutter cracked through; binding otherwise is sturdy. Previous owner's bookplate on front attached endpaper, and signature on half-title page. Front map is missing. Title page dated 1907. 439 pages, with ads, and black and white photographs throughout. Interior remains clean and in good reading condition.
