Volume 1 has an ink stain to the top of the front cover and volume 2 has a short split to the back hinge. Both lack the flyleaf and have a bookplate for S. Swithun's School Winchester on the front pastedown. Good +. #83 & #84 in The World's Classics. This binding variant sold for 2s 6d per volume. Uncommon.
