The film won an Oscar for Best Actor (Hurt), and received three more nominations; Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It was also nominated for four Golden Globes; Best Picture, Best Actor (Hurt and Julia), and Best Supporting Actress (Braga). Fine in printed wrappers.
