Hardcover The black cover has a cartouche in gilt and the title was in gilt. The corners are lightly bumped, the spine bottom and top have some shelf wear, spine is sun struck; the trimmed head still has a bit of the original red stain, the fore and bottom edges are rough cut. The endpapers are bright and clean, the interior is bright and clean; the frontispiece is of Muhammad the conqueror in black and white, there are 14 illustrations in total. 368pp.
