Small quarto, 267pp., illustrated by Robert McCloskey. A good or better copy in the publisher's red cloth. Spine a bit dulled, worn at the base of the spine, and the iner hinges just starting. 1-inch tear to the rear outer joint at the crown. Still a clean, square copy internally. Lacks the dust jacket.

268pp. HARDCOVER Presentation school bookplate (1960)attached to verso of half-title page. O/w clean throughout. D/w is present & complete, but very worn & has edgewear top/bottom, along with various other tears. Also a little loss. D/w will be improved where possible & supplied in protective sleeve. Will appear smart when work completed. I am uncertain as to which prinitng this is, & internally only mentions "copyright 1941." Heavy book. Size: 4to - over 93/4" - 12" tall
