All first editions in dust jackets, Freaky Friday in two dust jackets, one with no copy on the jacket flaps (very good with some foxing and spottiness) and the regular one (with copy on the flaps, very good with light wear); A Billion for Boris, near fine in jacket, inscribed: "Dear Ruth, at least this will save you a trip to the skin doctor's! Love, Mary." Summer Switch in fine dust jacket, inscribed to playwright Lanford Wilson "with admiration and love" and with Wilson's namestamp. Wilson and Rodgers undoubtedly crossed paths in their Broadway careers (Wilson wrote the score to "Once Upon a Mattress" and Mary was the daughter of Richard Rodgers). Handsome set of the trilogy, with classic Gorey illustrated jackets.
First edition, first printing, Signed by the author and inscribed to a former owner of the front free endpaper. Bound in publisher's original pictorial laminate boards illustrated by Edward Gorey, lacking dust jacket. 145pp. Very Good+ with slight lean to spine, minor rubbing, lightly bruised spine ends; slight fading. Edward Gorey illustrated bookplate to front pastedown, paperclip indentation at top margin of front free endpaper. Contents overall bright and clean with minor instances of thumbing; a several crease corners. A great copy of this comedic coming of age classic. Signed copies are quite scarce.
