Hardcover published by Rand McNally. A third edition copy, published in 1958. The first post WWII revision of the classic Blue Guide, covers Normandy, Brittany, and The Loire. Includes information on history, culture, the arts, and practical information for the traveler. 37 maps. A smaller hardcover, 4-1/4" X 6-1/2", the classic Blue Guide size. Bright blue cloth covered cover boards, with the title on the spine. Very little wear to the cover, all lettering is intact and legible. Jacket is protected with a removable clear cover. Jacket shows wear, with creases tears, and a large chip at the bottom right corner. Dark blue bound in place holder ribbon is intact. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Small bump mark to the fore edge that affects the first ten or so pages, about 1/2" across. Binding is tight and square. Edges of the text block are relatively clean considering the age of the book. Not a library discard copy. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
