102 pp. Deutsch

New York: Robert Miller Gallery, 2010. Exhibition Announcement Cards. This is not a book. The original booklet issued for a performance by Patti Smith titled "An Evening of Words and Song" and held at the Robert Miller Gallery, NYC, January 22, 2010. The performance was held during the run of an exhibition titled "Objects of Life," a collaborative project between Smith and Steven Sebring, held at the same gallery, January 6 - February 6, 2010. We know of three such performances at the gallery for which a booklet was produced; all are different in content though the design is the same. This one reproduces a text piece titled "Reflecting Robert" along with two of her photographs of Mapplethorpe's hands and one of he and Smith together. Stiff cream card, machine-folded twice to 6 pages (c-fold); 8 x 10 inches. Condition: Fine. Laid-in is the gallery press release for the exhibition. Will be sandwiched securely between stiff layers of cardboard and shipped the next business day. International postage may be less than quoted.
