The performance was held during the run of an exhibition of Smith's photographs titled "Veil" at the same gallery, March 19 - April 18, 2009. This one reproduces her poem "Equation Daumal" along with two of her photographs of funerary statues. Laid-in is the exhibition announcement card and gallery press release. The back of the card announces a concurrent exhibition of work by Jem Cohen. Cohen shot the 2008 film "Equation Daumal," directed by Smith.
