4to. 153 pp + colophon. Nine full-page etchings by Marina Richter, each SIGNED by the artist, and printed by Pavel and Milan Drímal. The text was set by hand and printed in the new lettering Aldine Bembo in the Krupka Atelier in Uvaly by Prague, where all the bookbinding work was also carried out. Includes an article of appreciation of Marina Richter's work by Leni Creuwels (in English and Czech). Sewn into sections and housed in a gray and brown paper-covered chemise with brown silk ties. A fine copy of a beautiful fine press edition of the last of Shakespeare's non-dramatic works to be printed & first published in 1609. The fifteenth volume in the Eva Bibliophile Edition. The publisher chose to issue these sonnets in the original version in the hope that the reader will succumb to the temptation of venturing on their own poetic translation.
