First American Edition Hardcover book Stefan Zweig rare wonderful Very Good condition book, unfortunate damage(see image) but otherwise good specimen. The poor Dust Jacket has been through a war. It's basically in tatters. Considered disposing of it and selling sans jacket but perhaps can be repaired enough to stay on the book.

DJ in pieces with chips and tears to spine ends and corners, spine has loss in middle, separated at joints, held together in archival mylar.
