Black quarter paper binding with black paper over boards, gilt stamped facsimile signature on front, gilt stamped title on spine, and red endpapers. Covers show minor rubbing but are otherwise clean. Gilt is bright. Corners are sharp. Dust jacket shows age tanning, indentations, rubbing, scratches, and smudges to all extremities. Sunning to spine. Small creases and edgewear to spine ends. Lower corner of front panel bumped. Top edge and fore edge of textblock show spots of foxing. Fore edge shows small indentation. Hinges strong. Binding tight and square.
