New York, New York, U.S.A.: St Martin's Minotaur, 2004. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. As New/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. As the superintendent of a Massachusetts prison halfway house, Natalie Price thought she'd seen it all. But when the death of a beautiful Boston socialite makes breaking news, Natalie is drawn into one of the biggest scandals of her career. Headlines reveal that the victim is a member of a secretive, high-class call girl service and it seems that her death was related to these extra-curricular activities. When a group of extremely powerful men are implicated as her clients, the question on everyone's mind becomes, Is one of these pillars of society her murderer? In fact, one of the men unmasked by the media is Natalie Price's boss, Deputy Commissioner of Corrections Steven Carlyle. Nat and Carlyle don't exactly get along, but she wonders if he's capable of murder. With a dead young woman front and center in Nat's mind, and the promise of more to follow, she heads undercover into a seedy and dangerous world, putting her own life at risk in order to discover the truth. As new, first edition, first printing, in fine, mylar-protected dust jacket. {Not remainder-marked or price-clipped} MBS1/M26

Slight age-toning to page edges. Slight shelf-wear and bumping to corners. Newsstand Library NSL U155. Vintage, Pulp Erotic Novel. Whipping. BDSM themes. Attractive painted cover art. Well-preserved, bright and attractive. Slight rubbing to edges. Cover copy: Love for Judith was the bite of the whip in a wild mixture of desire and pain. Seductively she led Bill, who confused love with lust, into her carnal web. Although he stood on the verge of losing his ranch, he couldn't resist the challenge of her passion and was spun into her grasping arms which coiled around his life. First paragraph(s): For a full minute after I fought my way back to consciousness again I thought I must be dead. The creature bending over me looked just like an angel. She had a very pretty face; dark, with clear cut, regular features, and wide brown eyes that were warm with sympathy. Then she turned and I knew she couldn't be an angel. Instead of wings in back of her I saw a rear end that was round and full and smooth, with just a touch of a saucy wriggle in it as it moved away from me. Illustrator: Robert Bonfils.
