80 pages, extremely well illus, A4 size publication which is assumed to have been formally published by Lewes Golf Club. The result of much research, this is a very readable and important golfing history. The first few paragraphs are interestingly more taken up with early cricket history as some of the land which eventually became used by Lewes GC began to be used for cricket in the 18th century. Covers are somewhat edge-worn; there is a remnant of a label on first page; but internally very good.
