each volume 8 x 11 1/2 inches. Vol. I, 416 pages, Vol. ii, 416 pages, Glossary, 45 pages, Vol. iii, 412 pages, 412 pages. Incomplete set, missing Volumes V & VI. Half black Morocco over gray cloth boards. The 2 books contain 208 numbered issues, presumably weekly, the only issue I can see with a date on it the last one in Volume III, No. 156, which is dated Saturday, October 28, 1837, that would make last issue in Volume IV October, 1838. Condition is Very Good; light wear to leather at edges and corners, both volumes have previous owner's name written on 2nd blank endpaper 'Thomas Stone Chatham July 1st 1857', title page and frontis of Vol. I unevenly toned, some pages in Vols. I & II are lightly but evenly toned, bindings are tight. STK
