This book looks almost new. The interior is crisp and clean, without even the name of a former owner. The grey covers are fresh, with just a touch of wear at tips and corners. The silver gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and shows light wear only, no rips or chips. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Sally and Jimmy, ten-year-old twins, have always been interested in natural history, and a holiday in the country gives them an unexpected opportunity to learn a lot about wild life. Living nearby is one of their favourite authors, Frank Marlowe, a natural historian whose books they have much enjoyed, and they decide to visit him to see if he will autograph their copies for them. They find him in a cabin in a wood, where they have been led by a fox they had met on their way. To their surpise the fox appears to be quite tame, and he walks straight into the cabin as though he is a regular visitor. But this is only the first of many surprises "
