A little bumping to head and foot of spine, corners. Small scrape and depression to bottom of boards. No inscriptions or scribbles. Circular depression to bottom corner of pages from half title through to p36. Light toning to page edges, otherwise pages clean and bright. Very good unclipped dustjacket with a little crumpling to edges, slight fading to spine. Now in removable plastic sleeve. Size: 8x5.5in / 20x14cm. 223pp. Weight: 680g.

Head and tail of spine slightly creased. Corners sharp. No reading lean to the binding. Spine tight. Page block edges clean. Internally also near fine with no inscriptions, marks or annotations. No weakness or straining to the page block, despite the cheap binding quality of the book. Pages clean and bright - just lightly tanned as usual. The colours of the book are extremely bright and unfaded. ***In a near fine colour illustrated dustwrapper, which has not been price-clipped, retaining the original publisher's printed price of £10.99 on the front flap. Head and tail of spine and extremities of dustwrapper just very slightly rubbed. Small stain (hardly noticeable) to the bottom edge of the front panel. No creases, chips or tears. Remarkably, the colours to the spine of the dustwrapper are fresh and unfaded, which is very unusual for this title - there is usually some fading of the bright colours.
