Also with three further titles including "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" listed as 'also available' - "The Goblet of Fire" was published in 2000. ***Near fine in pictorial colour illustrated boards. The boards are clean and unmarked. Head and tail of spine just slightly creased. Corners sharp - just slightly rubbed. No other bumps or creases to the boards. Page block edges clean. No reading lean to the binding. Spine tight. No reading creases. Internally also near fine with no inscriptions. Pages clean and bright - just lightly tanned as usual (very cheap paper stock). No creases or tears. The colours of the book are extremely bright and unfaded. ------------( later printing of the First Raincoast Edition ) ----hardcover, about 5.25w x 8h inches, a visually Near Fine example but there is browning to the paper and foxing to the edges of the text block, small marks and small stains on the front blank endpaper, in a Fair to POOR dustjacket which looks quite nice in the mylar protector BUT ( AND IT'S a BIG BUT!!) there is considerable STAINING to the verso of the jacket (and in fact I would recommend you throwing the jacket away but that's your choice!! --- has a paper backing so the stain and "ick" is covered and is not in contact with the actual book) , a bit of age toning to paper, ---no writing in the book, ---number line shows this as the 6th printing but it is actually the 5th Canadian printing as the true Canadian First had a number line that started with a 2, this early edition contains two errors: Line 1, page 8 has "highchair" instead of "high chair"; and on page 53 in the list of "Other Equipment" needed for Hogwart's School, " 1 wand " is listed twice ---errors that were corrected in later printings, the upper portion of the spine and the rear panel show the young magician ( NOT Dumbledore ), copyright page states Joanne not "J.K.Rowling", --this early edition shows Bloomsbury on the title and copyright page BUT has Raincoast only on the lower spine tip of the book and the rear panel shows Raincoast and $19.95 beside the UK ISBN barcode, ---as well this has a Bloomsbury ISBN on the copyright page---, this early edition (6th printing) lists Chamber of Secrets only as other books by JKR while the 7th printings and later list more titles, --- -the 7th printing was also the first time RC used their own ISBN and not the Bloomsbury ISBN so this is the last CDN issue with the Bloomsbury ISBN, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo, ///NOT SIGNED ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate (generally within 1/8 inch)--- Size: 5.25w x 8h Inches
