This copy is in very good condition showing some mild rubbing to the boards, spine ends, and edges, a light general age-toning to the pages, and a couple of faint smudges to the free papers. Housed in a clean and bright near fine dust jacket that shows light rubbing to the top edges and spine ends, and some inconspicuous staining to the panels and the verso of the panels (invisible externally) . Not remaindered, not price clipped, and not ex-library; in archival protection.

A fine first edition hardcover in a near fine dust jacket, light scratches to back of dust jacket. No remainder marks, good straight tight bindings. Full number line to one and first edition stated, a true first editon . A very nice copy

New York: Crown Publishing Group, 2011. First printing. Hardback. Fair/very good. Black hardcover 1st edition, 1st printing EX LIBRARY in dustjacket. Book is in fair condition, but 1st state dustjacket is very good, having been protected in brodart by the library. Book Condition Notes: Library stamp to the top textblock edge, along with a withdrawn stamp, and an RFID tag to the front pastedown appear to be the only library markings. Bending to the corners and crimping and wear at the spine tips. But the worst damage is the damp warble to the textblock, visible in the photos. Notation in pen to the rear free endpaper appears to be the only writing. Dustjacket condition: Original $24 price intact on the front flap and "Crown Publishers New York 8/11" on the rear flap indicating the first state dustjacket without the bestseller blurb to the front panel. A very good dustjacket with crimping at the tips of the spine panel and a little bending at the rear flap, clean and bright. Cline's runaway bestseller in its true first printing form.
