The Pelican Brief by John Grisham. Signed by author on half title page. Signature only. First edition, first printing published in 1992 by Doubleday. Both panels of the jacket have a textured look that is something of a cross of the pebbling that you see on leather basketball and the ridges and lines of a finger print. I have seen other copies of this book with similar flaws so this must have been a production flaw. Still this is a very nice copy of one of Grisham's better books.
