687p; xxvi. A hardcover book in very good condition with dustjacket. Edges lightly rubbed and small stain on top corner of foredge. Otherwise clean and tight. The jacket has several small closed tears along the edges, one of which is held with clear tape. Otherwise largely intact.

Dust jacket missing. Shelf and handling wear to cover and binding, with general signs of previous use. Wear commensurate with age and use. Clean unmarked copy. Light curling to bottom corner of rear cover. Light scuffing and smudging to boards and spine strip. Secure packaging for safe delivery.

The jacket is worn and smudged with the top and bottom edges of the jackets spine being bumped. The cover is creased on the outer edge of the front cover with the spine being lightly foxed, but not affecting legibility. The top and bottom edges of the spine are bumped. Spine is shaken, but binding is secure. Pages are clean and unmarked.

Very Good in Very Good DJ. 3rd printing 1977, very good hardcover shows rubbing and couple of tiny tears at spine ends, very faint wrinkle across last couple of pages and some other very light trace wear, in very good price-clipped dust jacket with price sticker adjacent clip, wrinkles at top corners of both inner flaps, wrinkle at bottom of rear panel and edgewear that includes closed tears and small open chips. Still a solid copy in jacket of this sought after cooking classic from the great chef. 687 pages plus index includes some illustrations.
