Very good first American edition, first printing in very good dust jacket. Book is fine except for buckling to one corner of the rear boards and affecting about 100 pages. Maybe it was dropped. Red and black pencil mark to top of text block. The price clipped dj has general wear and soil, some creasing, closed tears, a missing piece affecting the 'H' in 'THE' on the front and a 1 x 1cm missing piece on the back of the dj. Signed by Abbey: signature obtained by me.
A pristine copy of Abbey's classic novel of eco-warfare. Very light wear at head and heel of spine, a tiny smudge on bottom of text block. Dust jacket is very bright and clean, no tears or chips. May be a slight bit of waviness to front dj panel- or maybe not- see photos. $8.95 price intact. Inscribed "To Harris B, All the Best Ed Abbey" on the illustrated endpaper.
