First edition, second state, with a full 1 through 10 number line but without the "permissions to come" statement printed beneath as a true first printing would have. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square, and the boards are flat and true with minimal wear. Dust jacket is unfortunately price-clipped and has a 1" tear with associated creasing in the back cover that is mirrored in the rear jacket flap. The red lettering on the front cover, which can be quite worn on these books, is in beautiful condition with only very slight rubbing to the letter "S." This collectible, very good+/very good, first edition/second printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
