True First Edition, first printing with all requisite points present (lacks number one badge, misspelling of Soccerer's Stone, correct number line, 51795 bar code on back etc.). Shelf wear to boards with puncture marks on upper right of front, wear with paper loss to bottom of both boards and spine. Unclipped jacket shows correct First Edition price ($17.95) and chips with paper loss to upper right and lower left of front and bottom of spine. (see photos). Jacket is protected with removable mylar cover. Year two starts with meeting Dobie and a warning that there will be a disaster at Hogwarts if Harry returns to school. 6.25x9.25 in., 341 pg.
